about us

My name is Annette I am a retired veteran of 24 years (ARMY).  My husband’s name is Joe who is also retired and we are empty nesters.  We have five dogs consisting of two males and three females which we have labeled “the kids”.  We live on a one acre property where our kids have more than enough room for play/exercise, but they stay in the house with us and have a dedicated bedroom of their own.  After seeing how much fun we had with our dogs I wanted to start a breeding program where I could put some of my time and energy into something that could bring joy to other families across the country.  As you can imagine with only five dogs we run a very small, but tight breeding program.

One of the advantages of having a small breeding program is that we are able to interact with each of our puppies on a daily basis.  I have a heart for those with disabilities that may limit their social interactions and seniors, especially those that live alone.  It is for this reason that our program includes litterbox training for all of our puppies.  Most people don’t have the time to train a puppy to go outside and some don’t have daily access to a yard but would still love to have a loyal & loving companion.  We believe that litterbox trained puppies and adults meets that need. As for me,  I LOVE not having to clean up so often and wasting money on puppy pads that only get shredded!!  This unique training is a true problem solver! Moadim means “appointed time” and when our puppies are born, it is their “appointed time” to be a blessing of joy to their new families!!.

How it all started

My husband Joe and I truly love the blessings God has bestowed on us with our precious fur babies.  It was just our lovely “Leila” and “Max” when we first started and after we saw their very first litter we fell in love.  After we realized how intelligent, energetic, and loyal our Aussie’s were, we decided to breed them and bless others with their unique characteristics and playfulness.  We’ve been breeding since 2017 and what we have learned so far is that it is equally painful as it is rewarding for us! Now you might ask . . . how could breeding puppies possibly be painful?  It doesn’t take long to become attached to something so cute and cuddly.  When you raise them from birth, you begin to develop an emotional attachment to each and every one of them.  So handing them over to their new families has its hardships.  The reward however, is in the joy and tears of the happy family when they hold their new puppy for the first time. It reminds us of how we felt when we saw our little Max and Leila.  Sharing that moment with others is our just reward.

The Australian Shepherd is such a wonderful breed and once you have one . . . well you can never live life without one again!

our goals

At Moadim Aussies we strive for the overall health, temperament and standard of the Australian Shepherd breed.  Our passion, with the help of God, is to produce the best Aussies possible.  Our dogs are from top breeders with grand champion & intercontinental champion blood lines and years in the business.  All of our dogs are genetically tested through Paw Prints or through parentage.  We want to provide quality pets for those that want a little extra love in their life that only a puppy can give.  This is why we pay such close attention to details when it comes to training and social skills.

Delivering a healthy puppy to the new family members is a priority.  We ensure that our pups are up-to-date on their vaccines and deworming.  Dew claws are removed, tails are docked (tails can be left intact if puppy is paid in full by the 3rd day), and they are vet checked twice prior to delivery.  We also provide puppy packages with everything you need to get you started.  Package includes puppy records, sample of food, blanket, toys, and treats.  Digital pics and short videos are sent via text message from birth to 8 weeks upon new owners request.
